• 3 tea bags: green tea with mint
• 4 cups: hot water (at 80oC)
• 2.25 cups: cold water
• 1 tsp: ceremonial matcha – for lattes

MaChii’s Favourite Toppings

• 1 bunch fresh mint, washed
• Lime wedges
• Honey (to taste)


  1. Brew the tea bags in the hot water and let it steep for 10 minutes.
  2. Pour the brewed tea into a serving pitcher and then add 2 cup of cold water.
  3. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled (this should be around 2 hours).
  4. Sift the Matcha to remove the lumps.
  5. Add the Matcha into the cup.
  6. Heat the water to 80°C and add 1 tbsp into the cup.
  7. Whisk into a smooth paste (whisk in a zigzag motion)
  8. Add 0.25 cups of cold water and whisk
  9. Add ice to fill half of 4 tall glasses.
  10. Pour the iced tea into all 4 glasses, then pour in the matcha.
  11. Serve cold and enjoy!
Optional: Add honey to sweeten the iced tea or garnish with lime wedges and fresh mint
